all three nights

are short anectodes

too short

for a retelling

but enough for the incident

three nights

one each betided  a week after

a fiery ruckus

    in a stall along the highway  towards home

a flooded aisle

    in a bridge  on the way home

a gushing of mud and soil.....so orange...so heart-thumping

    in the middle of two bridges        as i and we was stuck on a jeepney once more

         worrying to be early arriving at home

Then just the second time around.

Someone came knocking

i know this just nothing more than casual misses.

but as i keep telling myself that i am not certain

this will just fly by

my whole world one by one started to stand on its own

again

refurbishing on its own

but

this core in my chest

keeps skipping a beat

telling me

that a fount is forming on its own

to support me

to hold me

i have to confirm

as i hold once  again the

grin

the smirk

and the

scowl

and the once in a lifetime

smile

                                                                       i am starting to be redefined

even if there is still a BUT....

and a question mark "?"......
